P513 513 TELEINF 03:57:50 FINANCE & ECONOMICS The 7th of February WALL STREET CLOSES HIGHER !NEW YORK - Wall Street stocks closed higher Mond!z following a a wave of profit-taking earlier in the day that came after Friday's strong showing. The Dow Jones index of 30 leading industrials edged up 9.09 points (0.23 percent) to close at 3,937.73. Some 325 million shares changed hands with gainers outpacing losers by 1,377 to 868. A total of 688 stocks remained unchanged. On the Bond Market, the average yield on the Bellwether 30-year Treasury issue was slightly up at 7.64 percent compared to 7.62 percent at Friday's close.
