P621 621 TELEINF 03:11:42 GARTMORE AND NATIONSBANK LINK IN FUND MANAGEMENT PARIS - The US Nationsbank and Gart- more, the british subsidiary of Banque Indosuez, are to create a joint ventu- re for fund management in the United States, Banque Indosuez said on Mon- day. The two partners would have equal shares in the new operation which wo- uld be called Nationsbank Gartmore and would be based in Charlotte in North Carolina. The new entity would offer US inves- tors a wide range of international in- vestment products and advice on the management of international funds. The two sides had agreed that Nationsbank would be able, within a limit of five years and if the venture managed at least five billion dollars' worth of assets, to exercise an option to buy 10.1 percent of Gartmore at two dol- see next page >>>
