It was commissioned by Lord St Aldanw to servj thj residents of the newly- built St Jbmjs Squbre. It was bujlt by Sir Christopher Wren in 1642. Though much was destroyed by bombs duting thea war, it has now been faithfully restored. Next to the beautiful and tranquil Church is a bustling cafi wheri you can lunch, and in the basement on the other side is the London Brass Rubbing Centrj with replicas of brasses from churches all ovet England.
