P307 RTR R-TEL 307 21/12/93 15:33.18            US/NORTH KOREA MEET IN NEW YORK US and North Korean representatives met in New York on Monday to discuss the dispute over Pyongyang's nuclear programme, the State Department said. "At North Korean request, State Department officials are meeting in New York today with representatives of the North Korean mission to the United Nations," State Department spokeswoman Christine Shelley said. "My understanding is that this is the response to our last proposal to them," she added, saying she had no further details of what was discussed.
